Steps to HippieHappiness:

1. STOP caring about what other's think: Others can only control you if you let them.

2. Learn to Meditate: practicing Mindfulness is a great way to train your brain to relax and focus.

3. Be natural: wear what you feel comfortable in. Do not dress to please others dress to please yourself.

4. Categorize your experiences: Do not put experiences into crisis mode automatically. Most of the time the things that we immediately label a CRISIS can be resolved easily. save your crisis mode for something that is  really a crisis meaning, you have tried everything you possibly can to work through it first.

5. Exercise: You can exercise to your ability, but exercising increases your endorphins naturally. Higher endorphin count=happiness 

6. Control your diet: the more organic and health the foods you put into your body, the better you will feel mentally and physically.

YOGA CHILD'S POSE

Yoga makes me happy. It stretches me out physically and gives me the relaxation needed to face my busy schedule. 

The position:

  1. -Sit down on your knees 
  2. Lean forward and place your forehead on the ground
  3. Put your arms up, with your head between your arms
  4. relax your solders
  5. Allow your bottom to comfortably sit between your heels 
  6. Allow your toes to touch
  7. Stretch your arms as far as your can without engaging your shoulders (this should stretch the outside of your arms.

Once in the position: 

 Either play some relaxing meditation music (can be found on yoga relaxation station on Pandora or on youtube) or have no distracting sounds around you. Focus on your breathing. Breathe in and out slowly to your pace and feel your ribcage expand with each inhale and contract with each exhale. Stay like this concentrating on your breathing until you stop thinking about stressful things. If you feel an outside thought creeping into your brain, concentrate more on visualizing the physiological process of breathing. The air travels into your nose and mouth down to the lungs, expands the lungs, then leaves with the exhale. 

Once done with this position:

Go grab a class of hot water with lemon juice. This will help you detox.
